Meighen Haddad LLP is pleased to announce the appointment of Partner David Swayze as King’s Counsel (KC) by the Government of Manitoba.

King’s Counsel is a prestigious title bestowed on a lawyer in recognition of their professional excellence, integrity and significant contribution to the practice of law. On January 1, 2023, David was among 17 Manitoba lawyers recognized by the province for their outstanding achievements in the legal profession and commitment to mentorship and legal education.

The King’s Counsel designation is a reflection of David’s work ethic and dedication to serving clients and the community. For the past 25 years, David has successfully built a management side labour and employment law practice, and represents clients from the public, non-profit and business sectors. He has appeared before all levels of courts in Manitoba as well as numerous administrative tribunals.
