Meighen Haddad LLP Associate Keith Murkin elected as WMBA President

Meighen Haddad LLP is pleased to announce that our associate, Keith Murkin, has been elected as president of the Western Manitoba Bar Association (WMBA) for the 2025-2026 term. Keith began his term of service on

September 1, 2025.

The WMBA provides continuing legal education and professional development to lawyers in Western Manitoba while fostering a sense of community among them. The association contributes to the larger initiatives and strategic direction of the Manitoba Bar Association as a local branch.

Keith is currently a board member of the Brandon Neighbourhood Renewal Corporation and also volunteers at several organizations including Westman Immigrant Services. He practices in the areas of real estate, wills and estates, labour and employment, civil litigation and family law.
