Trent
B. Sholdice, B.A., LL.B.
Trent Sholdice was born and raised in the City of
Brandon. He is an alumnus of Brandon University and
attended law school at the University of Manitoba.
Trent commenced his articles with Meighen Haddad LLP in 2000, receiving his call to the bar in
2001 and became a partner of the firm in January of
2006. He is a member of the Western Manitoba Bar Association,
Manitoba Bar Association, Canadian Bar Association
and the Law Society of Manitoba. Trent was elected
to the Brandon Family YMCA Board of Directors in 2002
and has donated his time as a past member the Brandon
and District United Way in campaign in 2000 and the
Kinsmen Club of Brandon.
While
maintaining a general practice, Trent primarily acts
as an advocate in family, criminal and civil litigation.
Trent advises family clients in regard to marital
and common law relationships, custody, access, child
and spousal support issues, and property disputes.
In criminal proceedings, Trent offers representation
for all ranges of Criminal Code and Provincial offences.
Trent also has experience in civil claims, including
debtor/creditor collection proceedings at the Small
Claim and Queen’s Bench levels, in addition
to claims for other general relief.
