Our Real Estate lawyers provide a full range of legal
services and expertise in both residential and commercial
real estate transactions, including conveyancing,
advising on commercial sales and purchases, leasing
development, construction, property management and
condominium issues, and realization on security through
foreclosure and insolvency remedies. We advise and
assist clients in structuring transactions, both in
real estate transactions and, through co-operative
efforts with other practice groups in the firm such
as in corporate-commercial transactions and in litigation
having real estate elements and handle some 2,000
files each year.
We appear on behalf of clients before municipal councils
and all boards and tribunals concerned with development,
taxation, use and conveyance of residential, commercial,
or industrial real estate.
We represent developers, owners and investors in structuring,
planning and implementing transactions that involve
buying, selling, developing, leasing, and constructing
all types of projects.
Our
firm represents both tenants and landlords in leasing
arrangements for landlords in leasing arrangements
for shopping centers, office space, warehouses, flex
space, and other projects.
Our
firm is experienced in all aspects of project financing,
including acquisition, development, construction,
and loans (both public and private). Clients include
not only real estate developers and investors, but
also commercial lenders, both local and national,
as well as condominium and homeowner’s associations.
