Laura
McDougald-Williams, B.A (Spec.), LLB, BCL
Laura received her Bachelor of Civil Law and a Bachelor of Common Law
from McGill University in Montreal. She completed her Bachelor of Arts
at Brandon University in Political Science and History.
Laura completed her Articles in 2005 and has been an Associate
at Meighen Haddad & Co. since.
Laura has a general practice, and practices both in the Brandon office
and in the Souris branch office on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Her practice areas include family law, real estate, wills, and civil litigation.
Laura has a special interest in municipal and environmental law.
Laura enjoys community involvement and is presently active with a number of organizations.
She is presently Chair of the YWCA Women’s Shelter Committee, Vice-Chair of the Souris and
District Arts Council, Secretary of the Western Manitoba Bar Association, and is a board member for the
South Western Manitoba Women’s Resource Centre.
