Warren Barber received his post-secondary education at the University of Western
Ontario and at the University of Manitoba graduating from the Faculty of Law at
the University of Manitoba in 1974. He served his Articles with Meighen Haddad LLP
and has practiced with the firm since his admission to the Bar in 1975.
Warren has served on numerous local Boards and has been active in the minor sports
community in Brandon and has taught both adult and continuing legal education courses
and has served as an examiner for candidates for admission to the Manitoba Bar.
Warren was appointed a Queen’s Counsel in 1991.
Warren carries on a general Solicitor’s Practice with particular focus on
commercial and real estate transactions as well as probate and estate matters. Warren
has developed a significant insolvency practice and, being the attending lawyer
at the firm’s satellite office in Deloraine, has a wealth of experience and
expertise in advising and representing the firm’s farm clientele.
