Laura received her bachelor of civil law and a bachelor of common law from McGill University in Montreal. She completed her bachelor of arts at Brandon University in political science and history. Laura completed her articles in 2005, and has been an associate of Meighen Haddad LLP since.

Laura has a solicitor’s practice, and practices in the Souris branch office on a full time basis. Her practice areas include real estate, wills and estates, agriculture and corporate/commercial. Laura’s life partner Dustin Williams, farms near Souris and they have a two daughters.

Laura enjoys community involvement and is presently Chair of the Brandon University Board of Directors, and a board member of the Assiniboine Regional Health Authority.
