Derek Cullen was born and raised in Brandon and received his undergraduate degree from Carleton University and the University of Manitoba in 1993. Derek then received his law degree from the University of Victoria in 1997.

He articled and practiced as an associate with Meighen Haddad LLP until 2002 and became a partner of the firm in 2003. Derek carries on a busy residential and commercial real estate practice and regularly advises his business clients on all business matters.

In addition, Derek has considerable experience in all types of business and property litigation, including construction litigation and builder’s liens.
